Overview

In this scenario, we’ll set up Order Fulfillment Guru to auto-fulfill line items of an order.

  1. Let’s assume you have specific products (i.e. warranty, digital items) that needs to be fulfilled automatically
  2. Create a location in Shopify to store products that needs to be auto-fulfilled. (i.e. Auto-fulfillment)
  3. Stock products at this location
  4. In the app, click Order routing
  5. Select an option for Trigger: Run automatically when orders are paid (recommended), Run automatically when orders are created, ****or Run Manually
  6. For Delay, select Run immediately unless you use Shopify Flow or similar app to update orders or have a post-purchase cross-sell app
  7. Click Add Routing rule
    1. Enable Inventory comparison and select Split shipment
    2. Set Assign to location to ****Auto-fulfillment
    3. Set Additional actions to Mark as fulfilled
    4. Click Save
  8. Create additional routing rules as necessary
  9. Click Confirm at bottom of the screen This is important!
