Overview
This option provides the simplest setup and has a streamlined customer experience. This is especially recommended if you have multiple pickup locations but want to manage inventory at 1 inventory location. You can also charge for local pickup or offer it for free. However, you won’t be able to send emails when an order is ready for pickup.

- Customers select pickup location and/or date time in shopping cart
- Select
Local Pickup
as a shipping option (you can offer it for free or charge for it)
- Automatically receive pickup confirmation email after purchase
Admin experience

- Go to order and simply click Fulfill item to mark the order as picked up

- Unlike Shopify pickup workflow, customers can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal, or Shopify Shop Pay for local pickup
- Product needs to have This is a physical product enabled
- Ensure Shopify local pickup is disabled
- Ensure your theme uses Cart type: Page
